Après, Board of Directors Meetings! 

The Après Ski Club Board Meetings are open to all members.  

The board meetings are held on the first Wednesday of every month.  Après business and policies are discussed and new events and activities are presented for discussion.  When something comes up that merits attention, a motion is made and then voted on.  Voting can only happen if a quorum of directors and officers are present.  Status reports are also given by the various directors and officers which can also result in discussion and motions.

Any member can attend a Board Meeting.  Only Officers or Directors are allowed to make motions or to vote.  In another words, non board members are only allowed to audit the proceedings and participate in discussions, if appropriate.

The President or Vice President in absence of the President, chairs the board meeting and abstains or votes on matters bought before the board, as a tie breaker.

The Wednesday May 7, 2008 Board of Directors Après Club meeting is at Georgianas house by RSVP only.  This is a pot luck dinner and it will be starting between 5:30 and 6:00. Georgiana is fixing a bowl of Spaghetti for four.  Georgiana recommends that whatever you bring, that it be enough for at least four people whether it be wine, salad, garlic bread, etc. Please contact the hosts Georgiana and Bernedette directly using our " " to RSVP and to get directions and an address to Georgianas house.  Please note and this shouldn't have to be said, no RSVP, no place for you to sit (except out on the sidewalk, possibly.)  The BOD Meeting will start at 7:00.  Since Georgianas house has limited space, seating preference will be given to the old and new board members first, and then the general membership, if anybody cares to audit the meeting.  There may or may not be room for general seating, according to Georgiana.
