by Austin Parlette Racers What a great turnout for what was a super weekend of racing. Under clear blue Tahoe skies, perfect weather conditions, perfect race conditions [not counting the advanced sl at Homewood] and some great courses, Après racers put on a real show. Rookies as well as veterans contributed to what I am sure will be some large point totals. Thanks are in order to Kristin and Paul for hosting the race weekend at the lodge. Kristin was even able to surprise everyone with a mystery chef to help prepare Sat's dinner. Connie and Brenda did an admirable job handling a rather hectic novice scoreboard. We will award pins and coupons for races 1 thru 3 at Wed's General meeting. John Schultheis is taking reservations for the next race weekend of March 1,2. No organized race clinic is scheduled, but you can independently join the masters group at Northstar, Alpine or Mt Rose. You do need to call ahead for detals. Austin Parlette, Ass't Race Director
