The Après Prop Voting is complete!  All 4 propositions have passed with 80% or more margin with over 1/3 of the club voting.

(A 66% margin was required and over 1/4 of the club needed to vote in order for these measures to pass.)

Greetings Apres Members (and friends)

We completed the Apres Special Election at the General Meeting last night.

First, we had 138 Ballots cast in the Election. This 43% voter turnout
exceeds the minimum requirement of 25% by a wide margin. Thanks to all
of you that took the time to Vote. You have spoken, and people were
listening!

On to the results: All four Propositions passed in overwhelming fashion,
exceeding the 2/3 Majority required.

Proposition 1: Change the required number of Directors from 12 to (9 to 12)
Passed with 132 Yes votes (95.7%)

Proposition 2: Change the definitions of Guests & Children
Passed with 133 Yes votes (96.4%)

Proposition 3: Change the requirement for Board Votes from 2/3 to a
Simple Majority
Passed with 121 Yes votes (87.7%)

Proposition 4: Change the requirement for Membership Votes from 2/3 to a
Simple Majority
Passed with 118 Yes votes (85.5%)

I would like to give special thanks to Linda Eaton and Liz Frank and
Bill Bartz for helping with the Election.  Linda and Bill helped retrieve
Ballots from the P.O. Box, and helped me verify current membership for
all Ballots.  Then Linda and Liz carefully counted and cross-counted all
of the Votes.  It was a tedious and time-consuming process with lots of
noise and distractions.  They both spent a long time very diligently
tabulating the counts without a complaint.  My hat is off to those two
ladies for all their hard work.  Be sure to thank them the next time you
see them!
