This is your Race Director, . He is busy tuning up his race skis in the Apres Lodge Tuning Shed. Paul is the point man for starting or continuing a stellar ski race career.

The Après Ski Club competes in an Open League, which includes about 20 clubs in the Bay Area Council of Ski Clubs (BAC). Après is a powerhouse when it comes to racing. In previous years, Après has won the Open League Cup, 9 years in a row.

A typical race weekend has lots of racers with skiers from beginner to advanced having an opportunity to participate.  Racing is divided into 10 skill levels including separate categories for: age, gender, board or ski groups.  This gives everyone a chance to be competitive and earn points for our club and even to win their class! It is simply speaking, a win win for every participant.
