The Après Ski Club is open to all active and single people ages 21 and up.
However Après now allows members who marry to retain membership. Their spouse may join too
and past members forced out through marriage may rejoin.
Actually you don't have to be active but Après certainly caters to those who are with many fun and
active things to do.
Cost: Our annual membership fee is $60.00 for new members and late renewals (past 30 days)
and $55 for timely yearly renewals (within 30 days.) If you would just like to try us out
(first time members only,) we also offer a 6-month trial membership for only $35.00.
If renewing, your membership is retroactive to your anniversary date unless your renewal
lapsed more then 6 months, then the membership starts on the month we receive your application.

For this option you must use Paypal for payment. Paypal accepts credit cards.
At the end of the application process you will be routed to the Paypal web site.
If you don't have a Paypal account, the account sign-up is painless and generally
considered the safest way to make on-line payments. You can also use a credit card with Paypal without opening an account.

Après uses the Yahoo Groups e-mail distribution
for club communications. Après does not require club membership to receive Yahoo Groups
e-mail distributions but of course we would welcome it.

Upon acceptance of your new membership, you will be mailed a membership card good for
one year from the date of issue, an Après Lodge at
Lake Tahoe coupon good for one FREE nights stay, a membership value of $20.
Compare with economy motel accommodation at around $80.
This coupon alone, is like being paid to become a new member.
You will also be entitled to the member price for all Après events that have a charge
and by showing your card, receive discounts at many merchants.
These benefits and lodge coupon also apply to the $35, once in a lifetime, trial membership.
Après membership also qualifies you for membership in the FWSA (Far West Ski Association,)
the BAC (Bay Area Council,) and the NSCF (National Ski Council Federation) without any additional fees.
There are additional merchant discounts available through these organizations
as well as a gaggle of additional activities and events to select from.

The other listed organizations do not need a separate membership card, they just need to see your "Après Ski Club" membership card, to
qualify for discounts, activities and events, etc.
